International grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, Podere Castel Merlo, offers Bordeaux cuts as per the tradition of DOC Valcalepio, elegant and with a highly aromatic bouquet.

Long ageing in French oak tonneaux, chosen by the winery because of the less invasive impact compared to the barriques, expertly balanced with long years in the bottle, give the wines smoothness and roundness that combine with the bold spice and hints of blackberry and rhubarb that are characteristic of the great red wines of Podere Castel Merlo.

Pinot Grigio thrives in the optimal location of the Podere Castel Merlo vineyards, creating truly unforgettable wines: vinified as a white wine and aged for a few months in acacia barrels, Lapis Argenteus is a white wine with clean and intense aromas and perfect with fish taken from the lake.

Vinified with a few hours of stay on the skins, the Lapis Rosa is intoxicating, exciting, with hints of pomegranate and rose petals, perfect for an aperitif on a Riva Acquarama speedboat, another excellence of the territory, at sunset on the Lake.
